couple on comp

Getting ready to revamp the design in your home? It can be challenging to picture the updates before you do them. Luckily, there are some great tools online for designing a space. They let you create a room, fill it in with paint, floors and furniture of your choice, and even view it in 3D from a wide variety of angles. Each program is a little different. At Floor Coverings International in Chester County, we’ve picked out a few free options that we want to share with you.

  1. Room Sketcher

Room Sketcher is a great option for beginners because it offers a few pre-made templates to start with. Making a room for the first time in one of these tools can be a bit confusing, so having that reference is a great way to get started. This tool has a free version with somewhat limited functionality. There are a couple of paid options that add in 3D viewing and printing abilities, along with a few other useful things.

  1. IKEA Planning Tools

IKEA has a number of easy-to-use tools that are great for home design planning. For flooring purposes, we love the Kitchen Planner and Office Planner. They let you choose your type of flooring and its color. This tool is also completely free. Though, of course, the furniture and décor are only from IKEA.

  1. Roomstyler

This sleek site features several fun tools that are great for home design. Like Room Sketcher they offer a 3D planning tool. A great thing about their tool is that it features a huge variety of products that you can find and purchase online. They also let you choose from a huge variety of flooring options for every room you create. Take 3D photos of your room and see what it looks like from every angle!

Good luck with your redesign from Floor Coverings International in Chester County!
